Recently it has been freezing in the middle of doing simple things but I tend to believe that the pc is not frozen and it may just be the video card.? Usually when that happens and I resart the computer my monitors will not come out of power save mode. I am experiencing somewhat of the same problem. When exactly is your monitor going into power save mode? During the use of the PC? Only when you try to turn on the PC for the first time for the day? Your answer will determine our troubleshooting path. Let me know if you have any questions on would only hear beeps if your system is not posting (Example: like due to a bad stick of memory).
